Embodied Yoga

8:15am – 9:15am

Tune the body and mind with deeply healing somatic movement sequenced to help release long-held patterns of tension and torsion in the hips, spine, shoulders, and neck. This class begins with gentle rocking and undulating movements done on the ground–flushing the body of fatigue, re-hydrating tissues, and assisting in re-regulating the body’s stress response. Yogis then move through a flow of standing, balancing, and seated postures to build resilience, strength, and stabilization in the hips and core before deep rest in savasana. All levels and bodies welcome, with modifications and alternative options given, along with the encouragement to adapt what is offered to suit what you and your body need.
