Chiropractic Manipulation

Also known as a chiropractic adjustment, it serves to promote proper joint function and movement.  This is done by manually applying a controlled force to specific joints, most commonly of the spine, that are hypomobile, or not moving properly.  Mobility is restored, consequently relieving pain and muscle tightness, and allowing tissues to heal. There are many different adjusting techniques used by chiropractors, and it is our responsibility as your doctor to identify what might work best for you. And if we feel that another office might have a better technique or service for you, we will refer you there. The techniques utilized at Be Well include Diversified, Activator, Thompson Drop, Webster, and Flexion/Distraction.

Dr. Fabris is certified in the Webster technique for pregnant women. This technique is a gentle and effective way to address low back pain and other discomfort associated with pregnancy by correcting imbalance to pelvic ligaments and musculature. Current literature supports the idea that restoring proper mobility to the pelvis and sacrum can help to create proper fetal positioning. Read more about the Webster Technique here.

Chiropractic for Kids

Chiropractic techniques for children are gentle and effective. It can help a child in the development of proper joint mobility and posture and promote a healthy developing nervous system and immune system.

Chiropractic for Runners/Athletes

Chiropractic care can be used to address common athletic injuries as well as help in keeping athletes at the top of their performance. Often in different sports such as soccer, golf, tennis, among others, we use our bodies in an asymmetric way. Over time improper biomechanics may lead to restricted joints or overuse which can lead to injury. At Be Well Chiropractic + Health, various adjusting techniques, physiotherapy, and muscle re-education are used to improve joint mobility, increase range of motion, and improve biomechanics.
